On October 30, a large group of friends gathered to congratulate the entire Oxford team on the store's 1st anniversary. The guests gathered to view the latest brands and models of handmade footwear. To continue the evening, the founder of the Oxford store, Audrius Bružas, invited friends to the home of the Kitas Kampas theatre – the cocktail bar.

The store’s team not only showcased the most popular handmade footwear models and their production technologies, processes, and unique features to the elegantly dressed guests, but also shared the shoemaking traditions and histories of the featured brands. Some of the birthday guests left with new purchases.
During the evening, A. Bružas introduced all the team members and thanked each of them for their contribution and effort in developing, refining and nurturing the Oxford idea, and encouraged the birthday guests to talk, build connections, share stories and speak not about the shoes, but about the people who wear them.

"Classic style and the Oxford brand may seem demanding - even limiting at first glance. On the contrary! This only liberates and unites us even more, inviting us to embark on journeys and pursue goals, and it is wonderful that you have all come here. Connect with one another, give each other a hug, share compliments and enjoy this moment! Today is Oxford's 5th birthday – it’s hard to say whether that’s a long time or not, but seeing so many people here feels incredibly rewarding.. Whether it's with Oxford, the Kitas kampas theatre or Sneakers & Readers – it does not matter. The most important thing is to celebrate life! When you are among people, what matters most is affection, connection and love. And if you need shoes – you know where to go. Thank you all for being here. Let’s celebrate!" said Audrius Bružas, thanking the evening's guests.

According to A. Bružas, the idea for the Oxford men's shoe store, now in its fifth year of operation, was born in 2018 out of a selfish desire to have a place for himself, his friends, and all stylish people who appreciate quality.

Since its launch, the Oxford store has changed significantly - previously offering men's shoes, women's high heels, and sports shoe brands unseen in Lithuania, the store has refined its focus and become a store for handmade men's shoes crafted by master shoemakers who cherish long-standing shoemaking traditions.
A year ago, Oxford founder A. Bružas opened a second shop on the same Malūnų Street, called Sneakers & Readers.
