It all started with Gabriele Camerlengo, whose craft was taken over and continued by his brothers Marco and Matteo. It is an Italian-born Camerlengo family business, driven by long-standing traditions, knowledge passed down from generation to generation, and the craftsmanship of artisans. DUCANERO men's and women's shoes are made in Monte San Giusto, in the Marche region, which has been famous for its footwear and clothing manufacturing traditions since the Middle Ages.

The uniqueness of the products lies in the dyeing process called "tinto capo". This technique involves dipping individual pieces of leather into dye, each time producing a unique result.
